This page is the MCP tools list of the HostRepute MCP server, with its resources and prompts. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard an AI client uses to read data from a server and run its tools.

The server offers 37 tools, 17 resources and 5 prompts at https://app.hostrepute.com/mcp/hostrepute. Your AI client signs in as you, through OAuth or with an MCP token from Settings, then AI clients (MCP), and every request needs two-factor authentication or a passkey on your account. Connect AI clients with MCP walks through the setup.

Team: a tool that works on one team takes an optional team_ulid; list-teams-tool lists your teams. Without team_ulid, the server uses the team you last opened in the portal.
Read-only: the tool only reads data and changes nothing.
Uses credits: the tool starts a check and uses credits like the same check in the portal (see credit costs). These tools need the Developer, Manager, Admin or Owner role in the team.
Names and descriptions are the server’s own, as your AI client sees them, and keep the API’s internal words: host is a domain or IP, data-source-group and monitoring profile mean a check profile, alert destination an alert channel, deliverability email authentication, blacklist a blocklist and delisting attempt a delisting request.

Limits

The server accepts 60 requests per minute per person. The other rate limits are in limits and defaults.
