This page lists the credits per scan, check and AI request that HostRepute charges for work you start yourself, and the credit packages you can buy.
- Scheduled monitoring uses no credits: the blocklist scans, certificate checks, uptime checks, domain expiry checks and email authentication checks HostRepute runs on its own schedule are part of the plan.
- Scans, checks and campaign preflights take their credits when you start them. When one fails, its credits are refunded; a campaign preflight is refunded only when it couldn’t be checked at all, not when it was partly checked.
- AI requests take their credits when the answer, summary or playbook is ready, so a request that fails costs nothing.
- Without enough credits, the work doesn’t start. The API answers
402 with required_credits and available_credits in the body.
- Credits belong to the team and never expire. Prices are on hostrepute.com/pricing.
- Only the team’s Owner can buy credits, in Settings › , then Plans & billing › , then Credits.
- Low-balance payment links email the Owner a link to pay for a package when the balance runs low. Nothing is charged automatically. The thresholds are in limits and defaults.
- When the balance falls to 10 credits or fewer, the Owner gets a low-credit email, unless a low-balance payment link is about to be sent.
